Oh, how I missed the joy of sweating all night with no AC. It was truly a test of endurance and a great way to bond with the heat. Absolutely delightful.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, right next to the beautiful ruined abbey of San Galgano. You can even enjoy a view of the abbey from your room. The on-site restaurant offers a terrace with a picturesque view and the bar/café has tables outside in a shady garden. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a swim in the artificial lake, complete with frogs.

The distance between the carpark and the hotel can be a bit challenging when carrying luggage, as you have to navigate small stone gravel and climb several flights of stairs.

The facilities are great, and the mornings start with a delicious breakfast, while the evenings end with a wonderful dinner in the hotel restaurant.

The location was perfect, situated in the heart of the countryside and surrounded by beautiful farmland. Being able to wake up to peaceful views and enjoy the tranquility of the area was a great way to spend Christmas. the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any needs or questions we had.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the room was quite cold and we struggled to get the heating to work properly.
